The slippery twilight

The night seems so right... full of promises. Like a very pregnant woman ready to pop out her child. Full of mystery. Light on weight. It comes by slowly with fireworks in the sky. A burst of orange and shimmering yellow thrown in with violet. And before you know it, my cloak is night. And I have a cape too, to slip by unnoticed.
As I lie in my bed, I feel I can change the world. Live up my dreams. run after the stars. Literally!! I feel I can make most of my next day. Do things differently.
I feel I can write more, better, in fact. I have more stories to tell. I can even weave it differently.
Change a lot of stagnant things. Run off to some place at the drop of a pin. Thinking of all such things, I slide into a dreamland that I can never remember.

KABOOM!!! IT'S MORNING!! My bubble has burst...
